We will examine the Bird to see if it needs immediate veterinary attention, if so we will contact our vet and arrange to take the Bird to him. We will continue to keep the Bird in a quite, warm and dark place. If the Bird needs surgery or treatment we will collect it when it is fit to come back to us and look after it until it is fit to go back into the wild. While the Birds are in our care we must ensure that they remain wary of humans, so we avoid any unnecessary contact with them otherwise they become imprinted and cannot be returned to their natural habitat.

ALL WILD OWLS & BIRDS OF PREY BELONG IN THE WILD.

If an Bird is injured in such a way that it cannot be returned to the wild or be given a good quality of life the kindest thing is for the vet to put it to sleep thus avoiding any more stress for it.

WE WILL NEVER REFUSE TO HELP AN INJURED OWL OR BIRD OF PREY WITHIN REASON AND CAN BE CONTACTED 24 HOURS A DAY IN MOST CASES.
